The lecture incidently was really interesting, part of the Bristol Wilderness Lecture series which I'd never heard of until the other day - apparently they've been going 21 years?! - looking at a serious climb in Madagascar. Led by Dave Pickford, the lecture was very insightful, looking at the ecology of the island, alongside the climbing potential at Tsaranoro in the south-east. Very insightful. Anyway, I digress ...
The way home was down Park St. and onto a bus (I was feeling lazy!) coming around the corner of College Green, I confirmed to myself why I'd bought my camera...
I'd bought it to climb up things and take photos from the top. The usual reason people take cameras out, right?
So after that brief foray through a contemporary set of the Shining, abandoned hotel rooms with nothing but toilet fittings, it was up higher. Quite a bit higher!
So at this point I assume most people have worked out where I was, but just in case here's one final photograph to set your mind at rest - assuming you can work out the surrounding geography!
