I'm an excitable, little twenty-eight year old, based in Bristol, UK.
Educated as a Mechanical Engineer at the University of Bristol back in 2001-2004, I decided to stay on in my city of study and make use of my Engineering degree ... Working in a book shop! I still work there part-time, alongside work as a Duty Manager at the The Climbing Academy.
As it might be apparent, my life's tended towards diversity. Work wise I've collected eggs in a huge free-range chicken farm, served drinks as a bartender in a Jazz and Blues Bar, been shot at relentlessly as a Paintball Marshall and all the while supplementing my income with photography projects; album art for emo bands in London, Downhill Mountain bikers in Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland alongside DJs and Skaters in Bristol.
In recent years my life's revolved around climbing, photography and the great outdoors generally. I hold Wilderness First Aid certification as well as the basic Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. Have experience of travel in Peru, India, Asia Minor and Western Europe trekking up high with donkeys and alpacas to 5200 metres and spending time in the Amazonian Rainforest amongst piranhas and howler monkeys.
Plans going forward are to venture out further a field and hopefully integrate my photography, my climbing, my love of the great outdoors to assist with expeditions to new and exciting places. I would particularly like to get involved with groups such as World Challenge, who take groups of school children on life-changing adventures that really open their eyes to the world around them early on in their lives and set them up for their life ahead.
